There is no better place to be on a hot June Saturday than in the river in Helen GA, surrounded by families, nature and laughter. This field trip never disappoints, we had a sold out crew of which most were experiencing tubing for the first time. They learned they needed sticks to push off rocks when they were stuck, they learned they needed water shoes to protect their feet in case they fell out the tube and needed to stabilize and get back to floating, they also learned the value of teamwork to keep everyone floating…there were numerous lessons to be learned, most of which you just have to experience for yourself. Once our crew exited the river, they were full of hunger…however, a great lunch was waiting. Then they spent the next couple of hours relaxing at the waterpark, riding the waterslides and floating around the lazy river. This is always a great trip to kick off the summer!
